Born:  Jan. 10, 1943
Died:  Sept. 20, 1973 
PA City:  Philadelphia

Croce Trivia:

In 1990, Croce was inducted into The Songwriters Hall of Fame, some 17 years after his untimely death in a plane crash.

Jim had three number one hits including "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song" which topped the charts the year after his death.

Croce often worked as a construction welder during the "lean" times of his musical career.
