Many young people know Bobby Troup only from Emergency!reruns but he was first a musician. He wrote songs that were big hits for artists like: Sammy Kaye, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

Most consider (Get Your Kicks On) Route 66 as Bobby's most famous composition.
